
The "Kundalini Awakening" trilogy novels premiered in 1992 with L.P. Streitfeld's self-published Champagne Tango. This original experiment in non-linear narrative chronicled a quantum leap into a simultaneity of past/present/future through an intense love obsession catalyzed by the author’s 1983 kundalini awakening. The subsequent unpublished Hollywood meta novels chronicled an evolving consciousness culminating in the quest for Self-mastery. These quantum narratives explore the occult sciences as stylistic apparatus for hermeneutics reflecting a personal spiritual evolution:

The embarkation into The Great Work was via an elevated Raja Yoga master.  This fated encounter catalyzed a kundalini awakening that inspiring the title of first volume of Critical Trilogy (2000-2007). My father was a pioneer in the Human Potential Movement of the early 1960s, who established Aureon, the east coast counterpart to Esalen, where I had my first encounter group at the age of five. Before I graduated from high school, he became a disciple of Swami Muktananda, whom he introduced to the scientific community when the guru visited California in 1974.
