Dr. Streitfeld’s doctoral thesis, ÜBERMENSCH : Salomé, Nietzsche & the Ages of Aquarius, delivered astrology and numerology as apparatus of hermeneutics into continental philosophy (2014, magna cum laude, European Graduate School Media Lab). This study investigates the Nietzsche/Salome invention of the Ubermensch and Eternal Return as a science of the 1882 Venus Transit of the Sun guiding their courtship into the hieros gamos icon in their magical moment of historic bliss in the pilgrimage site of Sacro Monte in Italy.
